Dishonest Owner Driver Contractor

Legadema is a staffing company that source owner drivers with bakkies and trucks and place them at the courier companies where they are contracted. I engaged with Legadema from October 2020 to September 2021. In that period I have requested several times that my rate be reconsidered as other drivers were getting much higher rates for the shorter distance in comparison to what I was doing. Until that time my rate was never considered. I was also underpaid for the total waybills and collections I had made. I was also given 2 trips to take some of the staff to Harties. Both trips amounted to R3600 and to date I am not paid for same. Each time I enquire I am moved from pillar to post. My fee for September was R11k, they were supposed to deduct petrol fee and insurance for R250. The amount I was paid was R2924 which I have made enquiries asking how they got to that figure and I am not answered. I need them to answer as to what happened to the rest of my money for September and what happened to the payment for the 2 trips to Harties for R3600! They are dishonest. They pay very low rates to the owner drivers. The biggest dishonesty is that Legadema refuses to give the drivers the statements showing how the payment is reconciled. The driver will receive a payment without knowing how they came to that amount which was paid. When the driver enquires they are silenced and told they will be fired. At times they are also removed from the chat groups. These guys are very dishonest. They have ****** so many owner drivers their monies and continue to do so and treat people with disrespect. They know people are hungry for work and they take advantage of same.
