Not feeling welcome at MINI

Last week I was in shock when I saw and experienced the unprofessional and unapproachable image from the MINI side of LMG Menlyn.

I was interested in trading my car in on a MINI. Walking up to the showroom, I was graced by the presence of a lady sitting in front of the MINI entrance door on her phone and... smoking. I assumed she was part of the sales team and was immediately put off from MINI because of that image. I didn't feel welcome to even enter the showroom or talk to her as she didn't seem to want to help me. I then rather walked through the BMW showroom where I was greeted and offered help, but my intention was still to get a MINI. I then went to a different dealership and was welcomed with open arms and a happy greeting.

Piece of advice to MINI Menlyn... educate that certain staff member on the importance of a first impression, how to welcome customers and to be more helpful. OR... to get staff who look and act like they want to work there.

This review is not harmfully intended, just want to help prevent another customer from feeling the same as I do about the dealership at the moment.
