Legacy Media - could this company be a ****

This company contacts your business to advertise in a so-called Business Handbook KZN. You submit a PDF of the advert that you want, pay R8500 and receive a free copy of the handbook. You never receive the handbook, their invoice is very suspicious - address of company is in Rivonia but contact details are in Durban. I googled their publishing house only to get a picture of some random building with no other details. There's no VAT number on the invoice either but VAT is charged. For some reason my husband has paid this company TWICE and is still waiting for the first handbook and unfortunately never scrutinised the invoices. My hubby dealt with a James Berling, Deon Vurden and Erica Van Blommestein - who were very friendly and efficient ......... but unfortunately I have a STRONG feeling we have been ****med! I did chat to Deon this morning who said he would get back to me regarding the handbooks - even though he didn't ask me for a single contact detail -and obviously I am still waiting to hear from him
