UNFAIR AND UNPLEASANT TREATMENT FROM GENESIS REALTY

Very very bad service received from Genesis Realty. Have been dealing with a rude and disrespectful employee by the name of Carryn Du Preez who I have been challenging to explain a rental amount that sky rocketed from R5 492.72 to R 25k and some change.

It has been months requesting for an explanation with emails that prove all that was communicated with Genesis staff since my occupancy of the unit, but she has decided to blacklist me with no explanation and no resolution or solution to my query.

This has been a rather frustrating and unpleasant experience that I would want anyone else to experience.

I have now started hating the unit that I have occupied for over 2 years because of the experience and treatment from Genesis Realty.

Looking for a leasing agent???LOOK THE OTHER WAY FROM GENESIS REALTY BEFORE YOU REGRET

We acknowledge your complaint.

Regarding your electricity, gas, and water charges: As per your requested arrangement (signed September 26, 2023), you agreed to pay these directly to the Body Corporate. Due to non-payment, these charges were added to your rental statement, as communicated via phone and email. Your account is now over R25,000.00 in arrears, including rental shortfalls.

Due to persistent non-payment, we had no choice but to blacklist you. The landlord has issued a notice to vacate. You remain liable for the outstanding balance.
