My grand mother has been paying for a funeral cover with Ledwaba Funeral Parlour for years. She passed on this month, while in preparation for her burial we went to Ledwaba Funeral Parlour in Atteridgeville to arrange for the package she was paying, my mother then decided to top up her coffin that was worth R10000.00 with a casket. She was requested to pay R15000.00 for the top up. On the day my gran was brought home, we later realized that the casket had scratches and dents and some instances they had tried to cover the dents with paint that was not the same shade as the casket, we took pictures and sent them to the Ledwaba consultant who had assisted my Mother. The next day they phoned in to say they we should have called them immediately which is astonishing as we were in preps to lay a mother/gran to rest. Upon following up they insisted that their manufacture has sent the casket as it was and that they logded a complaint with the manufacture. Today they advised my mom that she will only receive a R1000 from what she paid R15000 and that the manufacture will give them a new casket. Ledwaba is *********** our dearest parents, they have no care for client service or providing any form of quality service to their long loyal customers. They have gained from the monthly installments that my granny was paying, gained R15000.00 that my mom paid and now have also gained a new casket that they will make more money off. A total *******
