******* Inspection as per Rental Tribunal Law

I was instructed by Leche Grey or Botes to conduct an inspection on a property in Parklands through my company Property Inventory Management. I was led to believe that I would be met by someone prior to the tenant moving in which is the correct way that an inspection should be carried out. In fact the tenant had already moved in, and moved several items on the inventory around. To do an inspection in this way is not legal, as any damage could have occurred after the tenant moved in. As I had not been paid, I would rather not have anything to do with this contravention of the Rental Housing Act. However, I was harassed continuously by both Leche and Eugene - the tenant? I sent through the basic report which they said was *******?? They reported me to the EEAB which was futile as firstly they were in the wrong and secondly to conduct an inventory of the contents of a property you are not required to hold a valid Fidelity Certificate.
