What steps should I take

I bought sofas in 2023 September,the beginning of this year I started to notice the white spots around the sofas.When I bought these sofas I was told that are genuine leathers but not it is shows the true colours.i tried to contact them they said is my maintenance that made this sofas to produce the white dots I told them they are not scrashed or damaged how come they can be in this state.They say iam liable for sofas
