Squicky couch

We bought a leather couch in 2022 for over R49k, before a year was over in July this year the couch was already making squicky sounds when one sits. We logged a complaint, 2 guys came to test the couch and took a video & we were told that they would not collect it on that day but would come to pick it up on a later day for further investigations. Instead a few days later we received an invoice of chaging us for transportation and repairs, this amount was supposed to be paid before collecting the couch. We called their H/O but got no joy. A lady called Sne the lady was very rude to say the least and would not give us the managers contact details for us to escalate. The long and short of it is that buy at your own risk. Till today no one has callesd us back and we didn't get any assistance. Our R49k went down the drain just like that. When you complain, you get a million excuses nd the service is appalling to say the least. Once again buy at your own risk.
