Mold on Wooden Furniture

Hello Peter<br> I bought my bedroom suit at leather gallery, Shelly beach in April 2015. My goods were meant to be delivered in three working days from date of purchase but was only delivered mid June. I bought two pedestals and a sly bed made in Sahara wood. The sales person called me and told me that the pedestals are out of stock and will be delivered from the Durban branch. I relaxed & waited. End of April I called to find out what was holding the delivery but I was told that my goods r being shipped since Durban also didn't have any stock. Eventually it arrived in June and I was happy. End of July I discovered that mold was growing in the pedestals. I cleaned it, but this left a concern in my subconscious mind. A week later it was worse. I called the store and they told me to email the pictures. I did so on the 21st August. An inspector came to check it out and he simply said its the sea. Why was I not told about the ocean's side effects on purchase?To date I have been promised that management will look into it but no one has called to give me feedback. I've been to the store to do follow up nothing is transpiring from that. My question is, why Was I not warned against molding?
