Leather Gallery Poor Service

In March 2021I bought a leather couch from Leather Gallery. When it was delivered the two headrests were not parallel. Over the next months the seat started to collapse. and the colour on headrest was peeling off. This was reported to Leather Gallery in August/ September 2022. Eventually they sent their " technical expert" to view the couch. When he arrived, it was obvious that we were not going to get an unbiased and impartial opinion, It seemed as if he had a made up his mind before he walked in the door. Leasure Gallery on his advice later advised us that they accepted no responsibility for the damaged couch. We have had second opinion(as suggested by a staff member) It would appear if the leather was not dyed in the traditional way, but the colour was sprayed on and now it is peeling off They have given me a quote of R3695 to repair the damages. This will take up to 4 months with no guarantee of their workmanship. they say the guarantee is 12 months but this happened during the guarantee period and was not sudden. I will certainly not recommend these people to anybody. Thes staff are rude and aggressive and the MD (M Parry) does not take calls nor does he return them.
