Disgusting quality of leather lounge suite

<p>We visited Leather Gallery at Springfield Park and fell in love with a chocolate brown lounge suite. It comprised of 2 x 2 division couches and the cost was +/- R20 000. As we didn't have the full amount, we placed and deposit and paid the balance over six months. The lounge suite had to be returned shortly after purchase as two of the cushions split. We have had the suite for less than four years and it is in shocking condition. Two of the frames have cracked, the cushions have collapsed and we are extremely disappointed. The suite has a 12 month guarantee and when I called the sales assistant whom with dealt with, she directed me to the customer care division. I asked for someone to please come to my home to check the lounge suite only to be told that it will cost R350 for a call out!!</p> <p>I would strongly advise anyone looking for a leather lounge suite NOT to consider Leather Gallery as their products are inferior. Rather go to Coricraft or Weylands which are highly recommended by everyone I've spoken to. It's the old story of "you get what you pay for" and when investing in something of this value, paying extra is well worth it.</p> <p>We are at a loss as to how to deal with this as Leather Gallery are not particularly interested in the problem.</p>
