BAD QUALITY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The WORST customer service experience I have ever encountered. I purchased a dinning set from Leather Gallery in December 2020 and the set was delivered in January 2021. The chairs started forming lint, terribly! I've made contact with Leather Gallery Deco Park in February 2021 and was referred to the website to lodge my complaint. They failed to read and understand the grounds of my complaint, which is beyond me. A simple thing as reading, they've failed dismally at! They've further advised that I have been negligent in taking care of the chairs, which formed lint after having it for 1 MONTH! The set was scotched guarded before it was delivered, which I paid extra for, how could I have "scrubbed", as they assume I've done, the chairs in such a short space of time. They suggesting I reupholster the chairs and "dab cellotape/masking tape to pull the fluff off." This is appalling and worth a real joke! I've requested several times to speak to a manager, sadly to date NO MANAGER has called me. No assessor has pitched to inspect the chairs, no apology and absolutely repulsive and horrible customer service. Mandisa, who portrays an unsupportive, no customer service etiquette, unskilled, uninformed and poor management in response time is the worst person to deal with. All of the above was suggested by Mandisa and the one who has been dealing with my complaint. I would NEVER recommend anyone purchasing something from them. Poor quality and poor customer service. Revolting experience.

Good day Kim,  We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience experienced.  Our dining chairs are skillfully crafted from 100% polyester smart fabric that features water repellent technology. This fabric is a relatively sturdy and durable fabric, but still needs to be properly cared for and maintained to ensure it remains in good condition. Loose fibres from other materials such as clothing have the natural tendency to move the surface of another piece of fabric, where they are subject to friction. This constant friction causes the two fibres to twist together into small *****, commonly known as lint or piling.  It is important to note that fabric piling or lint is not a fabric defect. Piling or lint forming is a normal occurrence caused by the everyday use of the fabric, and does not affect the durability or functionality of the fabric nor the dining chair. If the chairs are used so frequently to the point where lint forms, we can recommend that a lint remover machine, which can be purchased from a multitude of convenience stores.  If it was felt necessary to have the chairs inspected, we do offer inspections for a certain fee, where our maintenance team will conduct a home visit to assess the product in question. However, this option was not chosen therefore that is why no inspection was carried out.  We sincerely apologise for the poor service that was received during the time that your complaint was being dealt with.  Kind regards,Customer Care
