Leather Doctor NO GO!!

In October 2022 I wanted to get my couches and ottomans recovered. I contacted Steven Naidoo from Leather Doctor. He came to my home with swabs and seemed extremely professional. He invoiced me R45 000 with a deposit of R36 000 as leather is expensive. The job was meant to take 21 days. On the 26 October 22 I paid the deposit of R36 000. I messaged him for updates but he always seemed evasive. In December he said that the suppliers were closed and we agreed on the 27 January 23 AS THE FINAL DATE . He also agreed to provide regular feedback. I kept asking for feedback,but he was once again evasive. On the 24 January 23 he sent me pictures of my couches stripped with no foam and no work was done to recover them as agreed. Steven Naidoo then said that I will be getting a lawyers letter on the 26 January 23. I have not recieved this letter. He STILL HAS MY MONEY, couches , ottomans and refused to take my calls. I message him daily asking for MY money( R36 000) back as I worked hard for MY money. STEVEN NAIDOO FROM LEATHER DOCTOR is not ethical, he does not understand business commitment and communication. I have since opened a case against Steven Naidoo .
