I have bought a house through Leapfrog Properties Eerste River in August 2017. My experience in dealing with the agents, Berenice de Lange and Alan de Lange, as well as the dealer principle or owner as he claims to be, Hendrik Pieterse, have been terrible to say the least.

These people give you the run around and ignore your calls all the time. They promised us that the tenants will move out on 1 February 2018, and we can collect the keys on 2 February 2018. When we arrived at the property on 2 February 2018 we were greeted by the agents and were informed that the tenants are not out yet and that we can get the keys on 3 February 2018. Ever since then they have been ignoring us. Hendrik Pieterse himself us a very bad Dealer Principle and could not assist us at all in this regard as well. I have all the screen shots of our conversations on whatsapp which I want to send around on social media and to the CEO of Leapfrog.

We are getting married on 10 February 2018 and will be stranded on the streets due to all of this.

I have now gone as far as appointing a private attorney to lodge a complaint against Leapfrog at the board.

I would not advise anyone to deal with Leapfrog Properties.
