Bad Customer Experience

The intention of this email is to bring to light the negligent on the part of the Estate Agent that was allowed to sell our property Leapfrog Midrand , which has resulted in unnecessary financial burden to us the seller. We are extremely concerned with the lack of knowledge or intentional derailing of the process by the agent. We are deeply concerned with the fact that the agent seems not be forthcoming with all the procedures that must be comp**** with at the various stages of the sale process. It is a strange scenario in that the agent seems to want to frustrate the seller although it is the seller who is paying her commission. After discussions with the purchaser, we were made aware of her miscommunication to both parties. This deliberate ill-advised communication has led to the seller being unnecessary put into financial difficulties and financial losses that would not been incurred if the agent provided accurate and complete information. We would have been in the position to make informed decisions. We were guaranteed by the agent that the purchaser wanted to take occupation by 1st March 2019 hence we on very short notice found another place to stay. However, after discussions with the purchaser recently, we were informed that the agent assured him that the registration will definitely happen by the 1st of March 2019. He informed us that he made the agent aware that he will only take occupation on registration, which is presently still ongoing. This false guarantee by the agent to us as impacted negatively on the seller financially. We now have to pay for the bond and also for rental. This simple communique would have not put us out of pocket. Why are we paying a commission, if not for also guiding us through the process. We will now seek recourse from leapfrog in the form of a refund of part of her commission to pay half the rental for this month. We would have not moved out until registration or arrange to pay occupational rent pro -rata. The below email is an example of her arrogance and proof of her unprofessional and ********* behavior. She did not inform us directly of this requirement but arrogantly wrote directly to the attorney. This is not acceptable. We had to contact the attorney to get clarity. We have arranged with the purchaser directly to meet during the past weekend because he wanted to do measurements and planned to finalize the snag list. This email and the attitude that comes with it shows her intention not to assist the seller but to only favor the purchaser although the seller has given her the opportunity to sell the property and earn commission. If that was not the case she would not concluded this sale. Leapfrog Midrand Worst service ever and the sales Principle has given us attitude Email Address : ********** also does not help and not escalating the matter This matter needs urgent assistance or the proper legal and Estate Agents Boards are going to be involved
