unprofessional photographer

We Received a newborn family shoot as a gift from my husband and father in laws client .Leanne Dryburgh was to take photos of our families and newborn son .

on the day of the shoot she was in between weddings and the lighting was bad as it was a cloudy wintersday and we were inside. Leanne took the photos but explained the light was bad .We wanted more specific photos of our son and she told us seeing that the light is so bad she will contact us in the week to schedule a shoot for our son but will take photos of the family as they were here only for the day.

Leanne never contacted us,we only teceived our images 4 months after the shoot after we had to contact her.

when we asked her about the photos of our son she became defensive and questioned the voucher she herself had given ,which had been pain for ,and specified a family newborn shoot,according to her we still had to pay for the images before she would release them. According to her the voucher was not valid.we eventually did receiveour photos.But what a disapointment .she left out images we had specificly asked for ,the quality was so poor i could do a better job with my Iphone they were completrly overexposed,the number of images given was less than what was paid for,the images of our families were taken in panoramic making it difficult to print and place in a frame. When we confronted her she was hostile and very very unprofessional . the whole experience was incredibly traumatic we trusted her with a very specail time in our families life ,we had had 2 miscarriages prior to our son so our newborn son was a miracle to us .she stole that time from us by not delivering on what was paid for!! If I had known I would have organised another photographer I know she has a good reputation but we found her to be unprofessional in her relations as well as in her end product!
