Poor service

At the beginning of July this year I signed with an agent for Leadhome with an Open Mandate to sell my house in Kempton Park. Leadhome introduce the potential buyer but do not bring them around. They do however provide details of them and give you feedback after the viewing. At the beginning of August I received an offer of purchase which I accepted. However shortly after this my agent left the company. The commission that is paid on the sale is much cheaper than the normal 7 or 8% normally charged. The process since then has not yet been completed due to delays with the bond application and other red tape and now in late November the paperwork to the deeds office will happen shortly hopefully. However since my agent left I have not received a single call from Leadhome or any communication asking whether they can assist with anything such as information on CoCs or whether the buyer in waiting should be contacted to see whether he can take early occupation, not even a courtesy call. I know that I saved thousands of rands by using them possibly compared to another agency however the delays have cost me thousands in the meantime for electricity charges, rates, wages for people to look after my property and security. I believe that the savings if any were not worth it and that agent support should be provided.
