******** financial deduction after registration
I am writing this review to warn others about a serious financial dispute regarding the transfer of my property, which was registered in the deeds office on 31 July 2026. While the administrative side of the transfer was handled fine, the conveyancers ********ly deducted occupational rent for the month of August 2026 from my final purchase price payout. Legally, my lease agreement and ownership ended the exact day the property was transferred to the new owner. Despite this, the conveyancers have refused to refund the deducted money and are instead referring me to the tenant to claim it back. It is completely unacceptable for a firm of conveyancers to make unauthorized deductions from a seller's purchase price to cover a period after transfer and then avoid responsibility when asked to correct their error. I highly recommend potential clients to double-check their final statements and think twice before using this firm.
