Pots chipping

I received a set of Boabab Cast Iron pots and 6 weeks later the paint on the lids started chipping, i called their customer care to query this as might be some kind of workmanship fault. Their consultant told me bluntly that Le Morgan doesn't cover this under warranty, she went on to even say that i bumped those lids and this is what caused the chip. I find this very strange to pay over 14 grand for Le Morgan to tell me to go fly a kite and they wont any assistance from their end. I was gonna understand if it was one lid doing this but two at a go is something else.

To be honest this is nonsense and wouldn't recommend these pots to anyone willing to buy them as their paintwork is ****ty and Le Morgan won't assist with this problem. The warranty for these pots is only on their handles and knobs. I've got friends willing to buy these but after this experience they would rather go spend their money to a different company that appreciates their customers not their money.
