Electricity cut unfairly during lockdown

I have rent on one of their apartments by Meredale Heights for long, l had a hiccup with my rental payment for the month of May 2020 which was due to the lock down. I earn on commission, they all know as from my submitted documents upon application. Since the pandemic started and the announcement of the president for the lockdown, l was obviously not to earn anything, hence l communicated with the accounts department for them to take into consideration until l resume back to work and atleast pay my arrears. The requested documentation sent including a letter from employer stating all the necessary reasons of not able to pay rent in May which was sent to them. They then responded in agreement with my request and that as from the 1st of July l pay my rental with an additional of R1000 to cover up my arrears which made sense. I paid my rent in full for the month of June, as l type this complaint am in the dark with my kids without electricity which was cut off earlier today the 10th of June 2020. I called to inquire about this and why so because we had an agreement in black and white email confirming the agreement made, only to be told l need to pay atleast 50% of what l owe for the month of May.. I don't have that amount of money at hand if l had am sure l would have settled the arrears without waiting upon the agreement made. It hurts cause it seems like these people don't know what they're doing especially to human lives, l have kids who needs food how should l survive living in the dark without electricity and can't cook for them. This treatment is unfair and in humor. Am still obliged to pay the other rental for July, am currently working from home how will l manage without Electricity. I need to charge my laptop, is that justice after all even our President speaks about how this covid 19 has affected the economy.
