Le Franschhoek Hotel - Terrible Room

I recently occupied a room at Le Franschhoek hotel for the Scrum Alliance Scrum Gathering, 3 days - 2 nights, 9-11 Feb. <br> <br> I had specifically requested a quiet room and sadly experienced the following:<br> <br> Room 7 near reception, very noisy especially in the mid to late evening with people coming and going up the stairs and banging around and loud talking. In the morning from 6am i could hear the staff talking loudly and it woke me on both mornings.<br> <br> In addition there wasn't even a full length mirror in the room, but i finally did discover it on the inside door of one of the cupboards but couldn't get to it as the side table was in the way.<br> <br> My final comment is that i couldn't open my curtains or my window as there were people smoking on the balcony right out side.<br> <br> I was extremely disappointed and i think more so as this is not a cheap hotel, I really did expect a lot more from Le Franschhoek.<br> <br> Chris Snyman the GM did respond to one of my emails, apologising and said he was sending the staff to rectify the situation immediately, how could this be done, i have already left!!<br> <br> Sadly his disinterest and lack of service will damage the Le Franschhoek hotels reputation and brand
