Lifetime Guarantee - not what you think

I own a 28cm non-stick frying pan and a ceramic oven dish. Unfortunately, the oven dish developed hairline cracks, and my frying pan has started to have issues with food sticking to it.

I decided to return both items to Ballito Le Creuset for resolution. They were kind enough to replace my oven dish due to the cracks. However, when it came to the frying pan, they sent it for assessment and concluded that it did not have any sticking issues. They offered me a 30% discount on a new pan, which I found disappointing because I use the pan daily, and it is not performing as well as it used to. The non-stick coating has become discolored, and now all food sticks to it. It's disheartening to find that the lifetime guarantee does not provide the level of assurance that I had expected
