LE CRUESET KETTLE RUSTING !

We bought a new Le Creuset Kettle the end of November 2019 to replace our previous kettle with a supposedly high end , top of the range brand , something of quality that one would immediately expect of Le Creuset.

We only began using it mid December , now mid February it has rusted around the spout as well as the lid. We returned to the store with the slip and packaging where we purchased it, expecting it would be replaced as it is clearly a defect. We were horrified to be told that we could get 25 % of purchasing a new kettle ! And more so that it was our fault that we did not empty and dry our kettle after each use !!!!! ... never have I heard such a response ....

Le Creuset ... your new advertising around your kettles should state .. will rust within weeks , not suitable to hold water and ensure it doesn’t remain wet !!

I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing this to rather go find an alternate , you will be sorely disappointed at the response you will receive when your kettle rusts.
