Le Creuset 'Pretend Warranty'

I bought a LC swiss roll tray from Takealot about 15 months ago. From the start there was rusty water coming from under the rolled edge after every wash, but I figured it was not something to worry about, as LC is supposed to be a quality product. Eventually the rust started spreading to the sides of the tray and the non-stick started to chip away and rust even more. I decided to return the 'lifetime warranty' tray via Takealot, but was basically treated like a ******** who apparantly damaged the tray on purpose..... (what idiot will damage the sides of a baking tray, but leave the cooking area in good condition) The saddest part of it all is that I have an old cheapie tray that I use for anything, and it does not have a spot of rust on it.
