Le Creuset ~ French Culture of "Service"

A unusually refreshing quality shop in the Mall of Rosebank, otherwise overcrowded with cheap, cheap clothing and poor catering, The new Le Creuset shop is a breath of fresh air, a candle in the dark, a shining star in the lower level of an otherwise boring Mall. But the stars of the show are the staff. So helpful and well trained in their metier. I have worked for 30 years in the tableware and cookware industries, around the world. I was delighted to have a discussion of serious quality with the young ladies at this shop. The origin of the clay for the porcelain, the difference between various French manufacturers (without undue criticism, which is a quality of any professional!) What a pleasure!! The products were repackaged into gift packaging so beautifully. I left proudly with super shiny carrier bags which unfortunately did not show the "Marque" ~ French understating! Go and enjoy the super saving promotions on products that will outlast your grand children and more!! Ours Le Creuset items are doing just that. I do not have shares in Le Creuset. I should have done that 50 years ago!! Bravo.
