Lost items not found?

we had a "group reunion" booking on 6 - 8 September 2019. We booked out Sunday the 8th. I unfortunately left my tested specs in room 103. I wore my spare set the whole weekend. Vuyelwa was the dedicated cleaner for the room. I phoned Monday am to alert our co-ordinator and she reported to the desk the lost item. Patience who is in charge of "Lost Items" said she will check. On Wednesday I called and she advised that no lost items had been found. I find it strange that none of our items that were reported as missing or left behind were not found. My specs, a pair of tekkies and a bracelet or chain. Will definitely not visit again.
