Horrible

I would not recommend LBE glass to my worst enemy. We first contracted Baltus on a large project which ended up riled with conflict and delayed by more than 4 months, only to result in us compromising to accept bad finishes and remaining issues with the doors.

We made the mistake of contracting Baltus again to instal a doorframe cover (Rather the devil you know than the devil you don't?). It was a very small project compared to the first one, yet it took exactly the same disastrous route. Overpromising and under-delivering. He was again not on-site to supervise and when there is an issue, he shifted blame to his workers instead of him overseeing the project to completion.

We have now been told, after paying 70% of the project fee and after they removed the faulty cover part, that he is withdrawing himself from the project and that we have to pay the remaining 30% minus a measly installation fee to get the part of the cover back and that we have to find someone else to install it. Essentially have to pay for a potentially faulty frame that we have no guarantee would fit the door and if we don’t pay, we will be stuck with an incomplete job.

Bottom line, do not use LBE glass, except if you like delays, excuses and bad workmanship
