Struggle upon struggle

A week ago, I sent my Ford in for a service and for the hooter to be repaired. They didn't have the parts, so it had to go in again today to have the hooter repaired. When they phoned to say the car is ready, I went in excitedly.

I tested the hooter. It didn't work. I asked the advisor and she helped me find the mechanic who worked on the car. I was then asked to bring the car into the workshop and he took a further 45 minutes to fix the hooter. What kind of idiot doesn't test the hooter before saying it's fixed????

During this process, I wasn't offered a cup of coffee in a waiting area or even a seat. I was standing for 45 minutes in the workshop. After he eventually finished, I drove home. Halfway home I realised that now the radio doesn't work. It appears to have been disconnected and reconnected because now it asks for some unknown code. I couldn't bring myself to turn around and go back to that hellhole.

I am so disappointed in their service, especially since it's a new car and I'll have to see them at least yearly again. I wish the mechanic had tested the hooter before I was phoned. I wish I was offered a seat or a refreshment. I wish I was even just offered an apology instead of a disgruntled sigh.
