Service
I visited Ford Lazarus yesterday to service my car. What a pain!! Initially, I requested a quote for a service, Nicoline sent me a quote, I didn’t book the service right away as I was still doing my quotes. After I got few quotes I decided to go with Ford, not only for the amount provided but also because I’ve always serviced my car there. Upon arrival, I was assisted by Janet, I explained to her that I got a quote and emailed it to her. I was then dropped off at work by one of their driver. At 10:00 I received an SMS to say they are working on my car but shortly after that I received a call from Janet, she said to me the quote provided was incorrect and therefore she can’t approve my service unless I agree to a new quote( which was 1500 more). I told her, no I can’t agree to that, as I was under the impression that I was going to pay what I was quoted initially. She said, she will speak to Nicoline and come back to me. Because, if she approve she will have to pay the difference. 10:40, Janet calls me, she then ask me to check my mails and respond on my email. No apology nothing, email was with a new quote and had to agree or decline. I declined the offer, she responded with an email saying my car will be ready for pick up at 12:30. Still no apology nothing, she didn’t even offer a transport to pick me up. Fine, 12:15 I was at Ford, she didn’t want to talk to me, just asked one of the guys to go get my car when she saw me. I waited for my car until at 12:40, when a technician walked in, and said he is busy servicing my car. What a joke!!! She now asked the technician, who approved for service, she checked her system and only then she decided to acknowledge my presence. She said we are servicing your car and I will ask my manager to approve it at the same price of the initial quote. Even at this point no apology, I then asked her if she is aware I’m also at work and me doing all this up and down is actually costing me, she said,”sorry madam, I will get a driver to take u to work”. Fine I was just disappointed and drained I left to work. At 15:30 she called again, with an attitude “madam your car is ready for pickup, should I arrange a driver to come now or at around 16?” I told her I will come. Suddenly I’m being offered a transport to get picked. My experience with Ford yesterday was a pain!! Janet Siwela made my day horrible. I don’t think going forward I will be doing business with Lazarus Ford.
