Lazarus Mazda - Appaling Service
On 20 Feb we went for a test drive at Lazarus and requested a quote on a Mazda 2. We received the quote 2 working days later and accepted the quote on 25 Feb. Finance documentation was submitted on 29 Feb and approved on 3 Mar.

After this we contacted the dealership numerous times trying to establish when the car will be available, each time the sales consultant couldn't provide us with a date or an established status.

When we followed up again on 13 Apr the dealership advised us that the vehicle will be available within a week, however the next day the dealership advised us that the vehicle has been received but unfortunately the price has increased, a staggering increase of R11.7k (6%).

I have contacted the sales manager but she only offered an R5k discount and alluded that they are doing us a favour by keeping the trade in value the same.

The matter of the fact is that they provided us with a written quotation which we accepted, all of our documentation was completed on time and we went the extra mile to continuously follow up. All of this to me indicates that the deal has been concluded and that they are contravening the consumer protection act.
