<div>I was contacted by Lawaid last year and made the mistake of entrusting then with repaying my debts. They paid it partially for about 8 months. Then my bank contact me, telling that my debt review had never been finalised and no payment had been made for that entire time to the bank itself. This means that ultimately, I was more indebted than when I had been approached by this shadowy-evil-no-good-deeds-company. Needless to say that they never returned my emails, nor my were there phone lines working. There website https://lawaid(dot)africa is a dummy website nothing ever happens there, the contact information there are fictional. Avoid them at all cost, they will not help you. One star here is really given for the lack of an alternative.</div>

13 Jul 2022, 00:32Well, so convient to leave out the part that says that I stopped the debit order because the creditors were not all paid in the first place. That’ is why my advice to anyone is not to make the same mistake I made by dealing with you.

17 Oct 2022, 15:03This is an update from my previous post. Lawaid had failed to pay two creditors of mine after they claimed want to help me with my debts. When the creditors came for me, I called and emailed to no avail (just try the phone numbers listed on their website and find out for yourselves). They only reacted (via email) after I had given them a one star review on Hellopeter and said: “We have been trying to communicate with you regarding your Capitec accounts as they requested more money. We needed an extra R3300 for Capitec. Without us speaking to you we could not offer them what they required, therefore that would be seen as a short payment” (Janine Krichner). Such BS… I have NEVER received a call or an email from them requesting an additional R3300 on top of what I was already paying them. Just BS. At least, Janine acknowledges that they never paid those accounts. Just Shady LawAid.Anyways, I am out of “debt review” (which they never mentioned they would put me under) and nearly debt free and not because of Shady LawAid. Do not deal with LawAid, you will regret it as I did. Just shady!

It seems to me that you are reading what you want and drawing conclusions that are incorrect and trying to sell your incorrect information and blatant lies on Hellopeter as truth.
Infact I CLEARLY state that the accounts have indeed been paid. I even included your statements as proof of payment, but I suppose you just conveniently chose not to see or mention that?
The fact that you refuse to answer the call when you see it is us calling, cannot be passed off as we didn’t call. Also, the reason we do prefer to communicate via email, is for this very reason. I do have a paper trail showing and proving that the information you are spreading on the internet are lies and considered slander.
Also, the last payment that we received from you was 03/05/2022. What means in the last 5 months we received no payment from you, that puts you in default. Your debt can't be paid if you don’t make payment. That just furthermore cements the fact that you clearly know you were not posting one word of truth on Hellopeter.
I will advise inhouse council to open a case of harassment and slander against you.
