LawAid ****

I recently had the misfortune of taking a call from a sales rep of LawAid, sweet talking me into the idea of financial freedom and all those wonderful things, I thought what harm could it do to hear them out. I went along with the phone call and issued them with a bank statement to see what kind of payment plan would be proposed. I should have ended the call as a few months prior I received a similar offer from a different company, but they were less invasive and allowed me time to think it over. All this time I was only interested in viewing the proposal. That never came. I was sent an application form and a list of documents needed, I signed nothing and only ever sent them bank statements.

They managed to access my credit providers and take over payments... I calculated what kind of savings I was making and it wasn't much, come October 2023 my vehicle payments would be complete and with that I would be enjoying a much larger saving... That unfortunately won't happen now due to LawAid making unwelcomed decisions on my behalf and my installments being extended.

I have tried calling and I've sent multiple emails yet I receive no response!!!

It's been two months and nothing has been paid and statements from my credit providers show that my accounts are in arrears.

I want out.... I'll take care of my own finances.
