Bad Attitude and Bad Service At Laurel Leaf Hair

On Friday 11 Sept I took my sister to Laurel Leaf hair and Beauty Santuary in Main Road Muizenberg. It being her 40th birthday I wanted to treat her to a mani-pedi-facial. As we entered the owner Carmen De Allende-Browning was busy with a client, however she was the first person I met as I came in. She didnt greet, she didnt welcome me, didnt direct any other staff member to me - I stood in the centre of the salon waiting for someone to approach me. Eventually an embarrassed stylist came towards me, helped me on my way. Other clients came in, regulars I assume, Carmen engaged with them, chatted, all the while completely ignoring me and my sister - when I inquired about services, she motioned to the stylist to respond - I mean what is that - I spent more than R200 in her store - and would have spent so much more if only she had cracked a smile, acknowledged that I came to spend money for her services anything. What a bad experience - over-priced, the blow dry was ok - but the waxing was awful, still s****ping wax off my face on saturday morning.
