Lategan and Van Biljoen's New Appliance Store - Outstanding Service

Telephoned Lategan & Van Biljoens' New Appliance Store on Sunday morning 15 September, looking for 2 particular large appliances that had been impossible to find elsewhere. Alwyn confirmed he had stock available so I drove through to Pretoria to buy them. This proved to be the best retail shopping experience I've had in a long time. The store is immaculately clean, organised and very well laid out, so it is easy to view and compare samples of their extensive and comprehensive range. Alwyn himself was pleasant, polite, helpful and obviously highly experienced and very knowledgeable about the products available, even to knowing such things as appliance installation aperture sizes off by heart. The products I selected were checked, paid for and loaded on to my vehicle in no time. There was a minor glitch later when the installer discovered that a set of retaining clips and seal for one appliance were not included in the package. Alwyn took full and immediate responsibility for this when I telephoned him on Monday morning and personally delivered these to Sandton on Monday evening. Truly exceptional service from Alwyn and Lategan & Van Biljoen's New Appliance Store, which I highly recommend.
