Lastminute.Com --- DO NOT USE - ****MER ALERT

I booked a flight and car rental through Lastminute.com, and i now very much regret it. Upon arriving at the destination, i the car rental company refused to provide me with the car i paid upfront for. Lastminute refused to give me a refund. Then i had a death in the family, and needed more time abroad. I contacted the Airline, who after sharing the death certificate, they immediately provided a Waiver Code to wave all fees associated with changing the booking fee. However Lastminute.com insisted i pay full penalty fees to them for changing the booking. because i insisted this had already been discussed, and that the airline agreed there would be no penalty fees, Lastminute.com refused to change the return flight booking. I now have no option but to book a return flight using an alternative Airline, and once back in the UK, raise a legal case to sue them for refusing to refund me for the car rental i could not collect. These people are ****mers, do not use their business, nor Booking.com. The best online agent in my opinion i never had any problem with is EBookers.com
