Shoddy work and no toilet doors

We stayed over for a close friend's wedding. Our room was dusty and the water in the taps was only a trickle so we were not able to shower - there was also no toilet or shower door. The ceiling was sunken in with marks on it. The lights in the room were dim or did not work. We paid R900 to stay in this room - disgusting! In general, the service was slow and they seemed to constantly be short on essentials such as glasses for drinks. The staff was also noticeably absent through the evening leaving dirty dishes on tables, etc. I was only a guest and I know that the couple had a positive experience but it seems somewhat short sighted to treat guests with a bad attitude. I also attended the Spa the day before the wedding. The massages were excellent. However, the pedicures we received were messy and unprofessional as well as rushed due to far too many clients being pushed into a small time frame. I had to redo mine and it was far neater than the so-called professional and expensive pedicure I received. It is clear that there is a break in organisation and that short cuts are being taken in managing this business. Management needs to step in and assess this company! Poor form.
