Abysmal service at the Laptop Depot

I ordered a laptop from them on the 4 of November and they sent me a receipt on the 8th of Nov. When I had not heard anything from them a week later I contacted their customer care to hear how my order was progressing. They told me they were working on it and that it would be ready soon. Two weeks later I had contacted them multiple times to receive similarly vague answers. At one point they even told me that my order was awaiting shipment in their dispatch area and that it would be shipped that afternoon or the next morning. When I had not received a tracking number a day after I contacted them again, but I could not get a hold of them for a while. On the 3rd of December I finally decided to start threatening them and they responded by phoning me and proceeded to explain that all their stock of the laptop I had order was defective and had been shipped back to their supplier. They then promised me that they would contact me the next day and offer me a choice of another laptop for the same price. It is now the 18th of December and they have made no effort to contact me. I am still only getting vague answers out of them every few days. I guess they are just enjoying a holiday with the money on their website. I do believe that they are a legitimate company, but I have never experienced service this bad, and I have never been **** to so much by a company. I do not recommend doing business with them. I find it so sad that I had to resort to petty threats. Perhaps they will respond better to a lawyer.
