Lapeng Legae Lodge

Emailed the owner on the 27th of November for accommodation on the same night for a staff member of my company. This was agreed on over the phone by the owner.

R840 for one night. Room was dirty. No TV in the room. No hot water. On the morning of the 28th at 6 am my employee tried to leave. The security guard was under instruction from the owner to not let my employee leave until payment was made. The invoice was only sent through at 07:20 on the morning of the 28th.

Payment was promptly made but then the owner could not be reached to release my employee until an hour later.

Absolutely ridiculous. Poor standard of accommodation, very unprofessional and borderline ******* practice.
