Lapa Lighthouse Guest House Umhlanga and Daddies Deals

This establishment is utterly appalling. They have absolutely no ethical behaviour nor do they care about the people that are staying there. I had requested availability for the 31st of March to the 2nd of April from their reservation department and i told them that i wanted to purchase a daddies deal for those dates, i was told that there was availability. I made the purchase and sent through the voucher only to be told that the voucher is not applicable over those dates. When i questioned why it was not applicable and expressed my dissatisfaction at the fact that i inquired before making the purchase i was simply told that the deal was not even on daddies deal. To which i sent screenshots and a link that states there is no block out dates on daddies deal. I later went onto contacting manager Lana, who was the most braisen, rude and abrupt woman i have ever encounted. She basically told me that it was daddies deals fault and that she cannot accommodate me despite the fact that they have confirmed availability and that i must request a refund from daddies deal. After hanging up, a loved one tried contacting her to which she cut the call on him and told him that she is busy. I then receive a email stating that my booking will be confirmed, and a secondary email confirming my booking. They also added that they will rectify the nitty gritty on their daddies deal as well and that they apologise for the inconvenience caused. I mailed them back asking for a reservation number to which i was told that my reservation has been cancelled and the reason: cancel as per owner. i inquired about the cancellation to which my calls and emails were ignored and then i see the nitty gritty on the daddies deal changed to include the block out dates of long weekends. I have never in my life experienced such deceit and falsifying of information and advertising from an establishment and they should be held accountable for their actions.
