Worst shuttle service

<p>I was suppose to take the shuttle between Cape Town and Mosselbay but ended up having to take a different bus. I had been at the pick up spot 30min ahead of time but when the bus was nowhere in sight by pick up time I phoned the contact person on my ticket, according to him the bus would be late, that was at 14:20.</p> <p> </p> <p>At 15:10 I received a call stating that the bus had left without me as they had been waiting for me and I was not answering my phone...this was told to me by a guy who's phone call I had answered at the first ring since I had been waiting with it in my hand in case they call. I had been sitting at the pick up spot since 11:50 and had phoned them twice during that time - how exactly is it possible that I missed the bus and their phone calls? I had no missed calls. We asked the petrol attendants (the pick up spot is at a garage) whether they had seen the bus and they said no. </p> <p> </p> <p>I had not seen any other people waiting to get picked up so I can only conclude that they had decided to cut their losses and skip my pick up so that they can make up time since all their other pick up and drop offs were obviously also late. </p> <p> </p> <p>The man I spoke to was rude and unapologetic and I've never had such bad service in my life. Upon phoning the main office to report the situation I was once again met with the same unhelpful and unapologetic attitude. I will not recommend the shuttle service to anyone! </p> <p> </p> <p>As I'm writing this I'm sitting on an City to City bus, I was able to get a ticket on very short notice, everyone helping me was very sympathetic and helpful and everything is perfectly on time. I will be reaching Mosselbay an hour and a half later than with Langeberg. Just goes to show you that just because something is more expensive does not mean that the service is better. </p>
