LANDSDOWNE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT a ****!!

Hi there, I would like to inform SA about this proper management team, that is very unprofessional and is just money hungry.

Upon purchase I did not receive any levy statement for the first few months and I tried calling/emailing a few times to eventually get levy statements early this year. I purchased May/June last year (2024) .The employees I was sending emails to later were not employed with Lansdowne anymore.

They had then changed access into the building and as the owner I had to fix my access which I delayed for a while, but when I eventually did go fix my access into the premises, I asked them why I was not receiving my levy statement? Just to find out all this time they had made a typo error on the system, which was fixed in my presence and later my levy bill was ridiculously high with an expectation from them, i need to pay that large amount.

They then started sending me threatening emails about paying the amounts and they handed me over to some attorneys for not paying, yet they were not sending my levy statement.

The Orlando Towers Estate uses prepaid electricity meters and as we speak or from the Month of March we were told that they are migrating the meter system to Alpha Meter reading system and every owner had to pay R1000 for them to be able to buy electricity again if the electricity they have runs out.

Some owners have paid their 1000 so they could buy electricity and some owners for the sake of their tenants, but upon the new registration, already a new statement was sent to owners with a bill of an outstanding amount.... How are you owing a new system that you have just started using? It is meant to be a utilities bill.

I had issues with a tenant that didn't want to move out and when I asked them to revoke access and just open for him when he comes, they told me they will not get involved in owner and tenant issues, but when there was a pipe leakage and I asked they not fix it. They had fixed it upon his request and the lady had mentioned in conversation that is scared of the guy. She couldn't even pull access control reports for me to show in the eviction case at court.

Whatever you do a nation/ builders/developers/need property advice/ managers on your property. DO NOT do business with this company. Bills will be incorrect, unprofessional and they always have funny stories to get money out of owners.
