DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER, BAD SERVICE, MONEY *******, INCOMPETENCE

I must say from day one this has been a headache. Firstly I will start with Planet fitness, to begin I had a two year contract with them and to my understanding it was supposed to end at 2 years ie end of February 2017. To my surprise it wasn't the case however it was an "auto renewal" contract. Yes I understand maybe the consultant failed to mention this however Planet fitness failed to get premiums from me in March 2017 when this "auto renewal" was said to take place( due to my FNB account being closed). From March 2017 until November 2017 not a soul contacted me from Planet fitness to advise there was failed debits and that I owe money. Conveniently they manage to give this beautiful company (yes there is sarcasm involved here) my details which might I add haven't changed in years, Landau managed to get my email address and contact number which means planet fitness handed it over. So this is where all my frustration begins .... in November 2017 Landau Attorneys contact me to advise that I have a FAT bill of what was close to R6500.00,. Now yes this came as a shock to me I was baffold as to how can this be. The consult who contacted advised over and over about this auto renewal like I was so dumb! but failed to hear me out and understand that no one had contacted me for 10 months to advise that they weren't collecting premiums(planet fitness)... so I accepted this responsibility even though it was no fault of mine so I decided that I would pay this account with R500 each month , to date I have paid an amount of R2500, and guess what my current bill is? R6500. how the hell is this possible? can someone tell me because I just feel these people are wasting time and robbing people. Also I did contact Planet fitness to cancel this so called auto renewed contract and was told at the end of January 2018 it would be cancelled however I still was being billed according to Landau. So understand my frustration!!!! I work with customers I work with insurance and the service is pathetic!!! ive been sent from pillar to post and even after that I get told I wont get a 50% discount off this fee???? what *******!!!! I promise to take this matter further, i promise to fight till im blue in the face, because people like us work hard for our money and its people like Landau and Planet fitness that just abuse us. So best believe either this gets resolved and somehow I get a 50% discount or that amount gets cleared ASAP. Im not letting this matter rest AT all.
