<p>We just want to let everyone know to be very careful when selling things to people. We have a camera that we want to sell, so we put the add up on internet Sa****ay 4/6/16 and added my wifes details because my phones speaker is not working well. This person then sms me on Sunday 5/6/16 (not my wife, which is weird) asking if the camera is still available. He said we must send the bank details so that he can make immediate payment (which means the money should show immediately) and email address then he will send us his ID and proof of address. Then we can arrange for delivery at Gautrain Station in Hatfield Pretoria. I then received the sms saying payment was made to my account and he emailed me his ID and proof of address. We checked my account and nothing was showing in my account. I sms him to say the money does not show yet but as soon as it shows, we can arrange for delivery. He then phoned me very upset about my sms because he emailed his ID copy and proof of address to show that we have his details etc (he was not friendly with us). I put the phone down in his ear and we send another sms to him saying that the deal was that as soon as the money show in my account then we can deliver the camera. an sms notification and email with id and proof of address does not mean the money is in my account. if he wants to be rude then i will cancel the whole deal. We did not hear anything form him that Sunday. Today is Tuesday 7/6/2016, the money still does not reflect in my account. Which means if we decided to deliver the camera on Sunday then we would have lost the camera and the money. (luckily we didn't do it because we learned our lesson earlier this year when we were ****med by someone in Johannesburg and lost a GoPro) Please people, don't just accept an sms or email as proof of payment, make sure the money is in your account before you deliver. I wish there was a way of reporting this person since i have his ID and proof of residence (which we think is really his, or could it be ****?? I tried to add both photos of his ID and proof of address but i can only add one photo for some reason. Please be careful people. If you get in touch with a Ben, don't sell to them. make sure your money is in your account first</p>
