WORST Accounts Department EVER

<p>I got routine blood tests done in May 2015. In August 2016 I receive notification from Lancet that my account is way over due and I owe them a large sum. My medical aid at the time was supposed to pay, so after weeks of nagging, I got the proof of claim from Lancet which I sent to the medical aid and they confirmed that they would pay the majority of the amount on 22 September. On 27 September I received the remittance and sent it on to Lancet, requesting an updated statement of my total amount owing AFTER the medical aid's payment.</p> <p> </p> <p>I hear nothing until 8 October, when a law firm contacts me because my account has been handed over. The amount that I need to pay has now increased, because the lawyer fees get added on top of that. I told the lawyer that I REFUSE to pay due to Lancet's incompetence.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 11 October I finally receive a statement which DOES NOT reflect the medical aid's payment. I query it, I am told to send the remittance. HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO RUN BACK AND FORTH AND DO LANCET'S JOB FOR THEM????????????????????????? A YEAR and 5 MONTHS AFTER THEY RENDERED THE SERVICE! Now you're trying to make me seem like the ***hole because I apparently don't pay my accounts???</p> <p> </p> <p>Most people would accept the little extra for the lawyer to just get this over and done with. NO! Injustice by companies like LANCET is done BECAUSE they are allowed to. I will fight you on this Lancet, as well as your attorneys. And all h*ll will break loose if this affects my credit record.</p>
