Why was I not informed

<p>Got a SMS from dept collector for outstanding balance on my account. Why was I not emailed or contacted by Lancet??? Have settled when Lancet emailed me the account but why I am I still reponsible for the dept collection fees if I was never informed by Lancet of this short payment??</p>
