Useless Lancet staff in every department.
Lancet Laboratories are ********** and *******! Their call centre agents are untrained to deal with issues as their call resolution is to hang up.
I miscarried in 2021, and I now have to relive that traumatic incident because of Lancet's incompetence. I was admitted for a 1 day procedure at Roseacres Hospital on the 17th October 2021. Every service provider was settled by the medical aid for their in-hospital care that they gave me, except for Lancet. Beginning of March 2022, I started receiving harassing text messages from Lancet that I owe them almost R5000. When I enquired what this was for and asked them to email mea statement, I was sent an email with no attachment but a typed body stating that it was for bloods requested by my gynae on the 18th October 2021. I knew exactly what this was for. I explained to them that I was never in hospital that day, and that I was in hospital on the 17th October for a day procedure. The agent I spoke to said he would find out from his Accounts department and get someone to contact me, this of course, did not happen. The next person I spoke to (Dominic) told me to do Lancet's job by requesting the correctly dated service card, I told her she is dreaming it will not happen, and that someone at Lancet gets paid to do that. I of course ended up doing this for Lancet, using airtime and not water to contact the gynae, his accounts rooms and the hospital getting statements that prove that I was never in the hospital on the 18th October 2021, but rather the 17th. The harassing text messages and emails have instead increased with Lancet demanding money from me that they should have claimed from In-hospital benefit from my former medical aid, all because someone was sleeping on the job and they refuse to now clean up the mess they created for themselves. To add insult to wound, I called in twice this morning to find out what is going to happen now that I provided them with what they wanted. I was on the line with Sbongile for 9 minutes before she hung up. Then I called again, and after being on the line for another 9 minutes with Mathapelo, she also hung up on me with no resolution to my query.
1. Claiming I was in hospital on the 18th October 2021 when this in fact false, is *****. What are the implications for Lancet Laboratories for this crime? 2. Trying to claim for funds from my previous medical aid from the savings instead of in-hospital benefit for an incorrect date is *****, incompetence and theft. Again, what are the implications for this organization? 3. I want to be reimbursed with the airtime that I have used thus far to try and do Lancet's job since the start of Lancet harassing me. 4. For the emotional damage caused on my to relive an ordeal of losing my baby, how will Lancet reimburse me for this?
I am told by the call centre that I am speaking to (Njabulo) that services were rendered and I must pay up, yet Lancet Laboratories only woke up when the account was stale, after having told them time and time again to sort this out. It has been a year and four months since I lost my baby, but Lancet insists on making this traumatic experience remain that, traumatic by not sorting out their admin and accounts.
I would like to know when this matter is going to be solved, or do I now need to take this matter further up?
