Useless accounts department.

The worst accounts department I have ever come across! I was over billed on a claim in May. I didn't even know until I requested the account from Lancet so I can settle the difference. To my surprise I didn't owe them, they owed my medical aid. Due to the over billed amount my medical aid benefits got depleted so the next account was short paid. I've been trying to get the initial account re-processed by Lance since July 2024. They tell me all kinds of stories including " it can take the medical aid up to 2 years to re-process' - what total BS!! I've been working for my medical aid for 25 years now, I know how the system works and I know how an over billed account must to be re-process. Endless phone calls and emails and still nothing. You even had the audacity to hand me over to a collection agency yet you haven't done your job. Due to your negligence and total lack of care and customer service my benefits are still depleted and now I have to pay out of my pocket to the next lab. I will NEVER ever set foot in a Lancet lab and I will ensure that everyone I come in contact with knows what ******* your accounts department is!!!

So after a call from Melinda from the resolutions team on the 12th with a confirmation that you have re-submitted the claims and a promise of a ref number that was going to be emailed to me, you still have not done anything. I just got off the phone with my medical aid and they confirmed that there is no reversal and re submission. It seems that I will have to get your CEO Peter Cole involved.

the person I spoke to was Melanie, not Melinda - the resolutions team manager!
