Unnecessary handing over and poor customer service

My father has been in ICU continuously between 3 different hospitals in the past almost 7 months. Lancet was used at the first and now the 3rd hospital. An aoutstanding amount of R 57 was left over from May which Lancet felt was reasonable to hand over to the debt collectors instead of just contacting us telephonically for payment. I askefor statements on a regular basis which take weeks tobe sent, As of 2 Dec I have paid all outstanding amounts and provided proof of payment on 5 December. I was assured the debt collection process would be retracted once this was done. I have received no response. Furthermore Lancet keep on charging us for tests that need to be for the hospital account and every time I have to ask for a reversal. Terrible service and customer care in what is a very and stressful difficult time for our family.
