U+E BLOOD TEST NOT PAID FOR

this goes to lancent laboratories,i usually do bloods twice a year,it heppened that early last year in March i was in a car accident,got admitted in April as i was not getting better to do investigations,when i was hospitalised dr did some bloods FBC,U+E,and about a week after my admission i had to do my routine blood test as an out patient,but the request form was written a while back by my GP,as i got to lancet i forgot that U+E is part of my routine check but because i'v done U+E one week back i thoaght and know nothing would have changed,i did not have a pen to cancel U+E as i entered the room to be bled,i told the phlebotomist that i dont want to do a U+E as it was done just a week ago,he said i must do it as medical aid wil cover,i said no theres no need,we argued until he ended up doing the U+E.in about a month i recieve a call from lancet stating that my medical aid did not cover the U+E and i needed to pay them,fair enough i agreed as i usually do pay the service provider if my medical aid did not cover the full amount,but than i heppen to call discovery to check why that amount was not covered cos usually from my routine bloods i dont pay anything extra from my pocket as im registered on their chronic programme,was told its a repeat of same blood test done in less than a week ago,they couln't cover again,then i remember telling the phlebotomist that please cancell U+E as it is not needed and he insisted on bleeding me for U+E,i contacted lancet several times ,emailed several times to explain why i refused to pay that amount,eventually i was called by the branch manager of mt edgcombe lancet and i explained my story,promised to look in to it and give me a feedback but he did not as well,now im getting an sms stating i need to pay them and the amount has increased ,really im fed up of explaining myself regarding this issue IS THIS THE WAY LANCET TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS???
