THEY DID NOT CHECK WITH MEDICAL AID BEFORE RENDERING SERVICES

Earlier this year I found out I was pregnant then on the 15/02/2019 I went for my first pregnancy check up..using medical aid..I was then later sent to Lancet laboratories to draw blood for testing as per pregnancy procedure..i got there filled up medical aid information to my knowledge everything went well a few months later I started getting calls that the medical aid won't pay..I was suprised how they tell me this months later..I'm liable for that payment, my argument is that if that was the case I was supposed to be notified before my blood was drawn that I'm liable for the payment...how is that my fault they didn't do their job .by checking up with the medical aid before proceeding with services now they recently sent me an SMS stating that I'm being handed over to ITC on what ground?
